Adventures in Motion, Visual Identity

onedotzero commissioned Wieden and Kennedy to create the identity for their September event “Adventures in Motion” festival. Wieden and Kennedy worked with Karsten Schmidt to create the moving identity with Processing. It’s formed using text from the web, really inspiring work.

Lightning Fast Robot Hand

Normally you see videos of robots doing simple tasks at a slower pace than a human would. However the Ishikawa Komuro lab in Tokyo have developed high speed robots that can throw mobile phones in the air and catch them with their fingers with absolute precision. It’s crazy to think where all this advancement in technology is heading.

Amazing Graffiti animation by BLU

This stop frame graffiti animation by BLU is one of the most complex pieces i have seen. It is totally tripped out creativity at it’s finest. We can’t wait to see more of this stuff.

Small Lion Joins The Studio

cyberlion

The studio is celebrating today after winning a Silver Cyber Award at the Cannes Lions. The award was won in the highly competitive Interactive Campaigns category which included entries from Wieden & Kennedy, AKQA London, Crispin Porter Bogusky, Goodby Silverstein, Saatchis NY and RGA NY.

The winning Right Music Wrongs campaign website was created for Virgin Mobile in collaboration with Droga5. For us it’s a really big deal that we managed to top some of the world’s most established and well respected agencies.

After just nine months in operation we are stoked that our first award entry has produced such a dream result. We are off to raid our fridge full of beer!

Electronic Arts Desktop Widget

We asked our EA Asia client for approval to write a post and publish some screenshots of the internal communication project we recently completed for them. Our client wanted to write the post for us instead, so here is his explanation of the job…

“EA Asia Pacific needed a quick and easy way to keep its thousands of employees up to date with its expansive line-up of game releases. Future Büro presented us with a desktop widget design that needed no explanation in its design simplicity and functionality. These guys nail most project concepts straight up, but their real strength lies in their flexible project management, adapting to our changes as the project evolves.”
